These terms apply to Helminthix.org and the Helminthix Members community, a professional network for people working to combat neglected tropical diseases through AI, drug discovery, parasitology, translational science, clinical development, public-health programmes and international collaboration.

Purpose of Helminthix Members

Helminthix Members exists to help suitable professionals and organisations find each other, exchange knowledge and build impactful international consortia that can attract funding, talent and practical capacity to neglected tropical disease work.

Eligibility and review

Anyone may apply to join, but membership is not automatic. Helminthix may review, approve, decline, suspend or remove accounts and directory profiles at its discretion to protect the quality, safety and purpose of the community.

The community is intended for people with a professional interest in the field, including molecular laboratories, parasitologists, eradication programmes, AI drug-development teams, health professionals, clinical-trial teams, funders, public-health organisations and related partners.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your Google account and device secure. You must provide accurate profile information and keep it reasonably up to date. You must not create misleading profiles, impersonate another person or organisation, or use the community to harvest contact details.

Member directory

Directory visibility is controlled by member preferences and Helminthix approval. A profile may be hidden, pending review, declined or removed. Helminthix does not guarantee that a profile will be listed, remain listed or appear in a particular order in search results.

Professional conduct

Members must use the community respectfully and professionally. You must not use Helminthix to send spam, make misleading claims, distribute malware, solicit inappropriate personal information, misuse confidential information, harass others, or promote activities that are unlawful, unsafe or inconsistent with the mission of combatting neglected tropical diseases.

No medical or clinical advice

Information on Helminthix and within the member community is for professional collaboration and general informational purposes. It is not medical advice, clinical guidance, regulatory advice or a substitute for independent professional judgement. Clinical, research, regulatory and public-health decisions should be made through appropriate qualified processes.

Research, funding and collaboration

Helminthix may help introduce people, shape collaboration opportunities, convene consortia or support funding discussions. We do not guarantee funding, investment, partnership outcomes, scientific success, regulatory approval or commercial results.

Confidentiality

You should not share confidential, proprietary, patient-level, clinical-trial participant or sensitive research information through Helminthix unless appropriate agreements and safeguards are in place. If you receive non-public information from another member or partner, you must treat it responsibly and in accordance with any applicable agreements or professional duties.

Content you provide

You are responsible for information you submit to Helminthix, including profile text, biographies, organisation details and collaboration interests. You confirm that you have the right to provide that information. You give Helminthix permission to host, process and display submitted content as needed to operate the site, member app and directory according to your visibility choices and our review processes.

Acceptable use

You must not attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the site or member app, access accounts or data without permission, scrape or bulk export member information, bypass visibility controls, reverse engineer private systems, or use Helminthix in a way that harms the community or its mission.

Third-party services

Helminthix may use third-party services such as Google sign-in, hosting providers, analytics, security tools and CRM systems. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the site, member app, directory, review process or community features. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

Helminthix is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Helminthix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the site, member app, directory, introductions or collaboration opportunities.
